Dear Partners,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are pleased to announce another successful leadership transition. As of August 31st, 2021, Olabukunola Williams has stepped down from the role of Executive Director. Buky Williams successfully led the organization through its first leadership transition from the co-founder Fadekemi Akinfaderin. Under her leadership, she strengthened our work on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), deepened our engagement with feminist and women’s rights organizations and increased our visibility at national, regional, and global levels. We are grateful for these achievements and will continue our relationship even as she takes on new opportunities.

Keeping with our commitment to being led by young people, we are excited to announce Oluwatoyin Chukwudozie as the new Executive Director. Toyin is no stranger to the organization as she has been with us since 2013 when she joined our family as a mobile health Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) counsellor. Over the years, she has grown and taken up several leadership positions, including serving as the Team Leader for the Strategy, Development & Learning and the Advocacy and Policy Influencing units. Before her appointment, she served as the Head of Programs. She is a committed, strong, and passionate leader who can bridge the institutional history with youthful and dynamic insights to propel us into the future. We couldn’t have chosen a better leader to steer the organization in its next chapter.

We hope you will join us in welcoming Toyin into her new role. She will be reaching out to you in the coming weeks to schedule an introductory call to share her vision for the institution and our partnership. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to achieving more success.
