In commemoration of the 16 Days of Activism, with the theme “UNITE! Activism to end violence against women and girls,” EVA hosted a multi-stakeholders summit on GBV and an award ceremony in Nasarawa and Kaduna States.

We leveraged on the partnerships we have built in different communities where we have worked to prevent and respond to violence against women and girls. We acknowledged the help of partners, both in the government and in the community, who have worked together to end GBV and build more partnerships to prevent GBV in Kaduna and Nasarawa states.

After capacity building, our champions are passionate, work voluntarily, and ensure that no harm comes to their families, children, and everyone in their community. It is such an amazing sight.

A dance drama was presented, and it highlighted all forms of GBV and its dangers, which encouraged people to speak up and not be silent.

Shout out to our stakeholders; we commend them for the great job they are doing in the states, and awards were presented to show our appreciation.

We know we can unite to end all forms of violence against women and girls, and one step at a time, we can and will kick against GBV.
