Education as a Vaccine Kaduna Office in collaboration with the Centre for Girls Education Zaria and with the support of Malala Fund, organized a productive one-day stakeholder meeting. The meeting focused on empowering girls and featured passionate girl advocates who presented their Advocacy ASK to decision-makers and policymakers.
During the meeting, Hajiyah Aisha Muhammad, the Deputy Director of Education, delivered an inspiring message reaffirming the state’s commitment to prioritizing girl education.
She highlighted an ongoing project called the Adolescent Girls Initiative Learning Empowerment (AJILE) by the World Bank, this initiative aims to provide infrastructures and WASH facilities to 540 schools across Kaduna state, creating a conducive learning environment for students.
Furthermore, Hajiyah Aisha Muhammad assured attendees that the Ministry of Education would offer support wherever necessary. She emphasized that girl education remains a top priority, and the ministry will continue to take proactive measures to ensure girls have equal opportunities to learn and succeed.
