My Question and My Answer (My Q&A)

Duration: 2007 – Present

Supported by OneWorld UK (OWUK)

In 2007, EVA received support from OneWorld UK to scale up the national reproductive health and HIV&AIDS hotline to include an SMS and web component. This new component, My Question and My Answer(My Q&A), is a 3-in-1 mobile phone service that allows young people to ask questions through text messages, voice calls and email/web (My Question). It allows young people to share the knowledge they have through a monthly quiz competition (My Answer). MyQ allows young people to access accurate non-judgemental and confidential information anonymously no matter their location and at their convenience. MyA encourages young people to seek and acquire accurate information about their sexual reproductive health and HIV and AIDS in a creative and entertaining manner.
