Question: When was EVA founded?

Answer: EVA was founded on October 5, 2000

Question: Who are the founders of EVA?

Answer: The idea of EVA was conceived by two young and dynamic individuals by the names of Damilola Adebiyi and Fadekemi Akinfaderin. Both women received dual B.S. degrees at Wesleyan University in the areas of Neuroscience / Psychology and Chemistry / Molecular Biology and Biochemistry respectively.

Question: Where is EVA represented?

Answer: EVA is officially incorporated in the United States of America as well as Nigeria . Currently, all of EVA’s programs are run from its office in Abuja , FCT – the capital of Nigeria .  The organization intends on expanding it's geographical ream of operation to other parts of Nigeria and other African countries.  

Question: What are EVA’s programs and activities?

Answer: EVA programmatic activities focus on two target populations, youth and people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA).   Please refer to program description more detail.

Question: Where does EVA get funding to do its work?

Answer: EVA seeks funding from foundations, corporations, and individuals interested in African development, health (HIV/AIDS), and youth initiatives.

Question: Why is EVA worthy of my support?

Answer: EVA is dedicated to controlling the AIDS epidemic in Nigeria, especially amongst youth who are most vulnerable and providing care and support for infected individuals. EVA’s programs have empowered youth and PLWHA with life preserving health information and skills aimed at promoting positive health outcomes.  EVA’s outstanding reputation in the community, innovative vision, and cutting edge programs make the organization a worthy candidate for support.

Question: How can I support EVA?

Answer: Gifts of cash or in-kind contributions of materials and services such as printing, technical support/equipment, consultation services, etc., would provide EVA with the support needed to continue providing superior programs and services. Question: Are gifts tax deductible?

Answer: EVA is classified under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code. All gifts/donations to the organization are tax deductible. For further questions, please contact EVA.

Question: Does EVA offer voluntary/internship opportunities?
